FAMILY STORY

Jonathan and Julie Moran have served in almost every capacity of ministry for close to three decades, including 13 years as senior pastors. Jonathan was raised in a church-planting family in California, where his love to see the kingdom of God advance began. Julie was raised in Illinois in a faithful and committed family where her passion for ministry began. They met in 1994, were married in 1997, and now have five amazing children as a testimony of the goodness of God.

In 2022, God gave them a desire and burden to relocate and plant a church in the West County area of St. Louis. As they spent time in prayer and exploring the area, they felt an immediate connection to Wildwood. After several months and many undeniable confirmations, the family made the move in July 2023. Over the years and through various stages of ministry, raising children, and personal development, God has equipped them with the tools needed to see a thriving, Spirit-led church in this community.

we believe

The following are the core beliefs of GraceHill Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in these biblical doctrines.

GOD

We believe in One eternally existing God who created all things. God has revealed Himself to us as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit, with distinct attributes but without division of nature, essence, or being. Jesus Christ is God displayed in flesh. He is both God and man.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

REVELATION

God has revealed himself to us through his son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, through the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself.

SALVATION

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us to God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. He was raised from the dead and now by grace offers eternal life as a free gift to all who follow Christ. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

WATER BAPTISM

We believe that our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is expressed by calling on His Name in the waters of baptism. Water baptism is an act of obedience identifying with Jesus in death to sin, burial of the old nature, and resurrection to new life. We are baptized for the remission of our sins.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is active in the world today. Being filled with the Holy Spirit and developing the life characteristics produced by His indwelling are the privileges of all New Testament believers.

THE CHURCH

The Church is meant to be the visible body of Christ sent into the world to glorify God and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a Spirit-filled church and a bible-based church.

RESURRECTION

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God’s kingdom on earth.
